Simple, they will bump up the power again. Ford is also playing around with a 7.3 powerstroke right now. Possible 6.7 replacement.

Could that have been a Dana rear end instead of an American Gear? Not sure.

They would be wise to do a serious new body and cab design, if they donít change the cab to better headroom to match Ford then I wonít go back to ram any time soon. I was happy with the rams though except the the dead pedal at start, solid trucks.

Well you can almost guarantee that they will be using the cab from the new 1500 which is way bigger than the old one and way nicer on the inside. If everything shapes out like it looks like its going to, ram will be the first to 1000tq, carry over the amazing new giant cab from the 1500 with its interior that blows every other trucks interior out of the water, carry over the great new exterior styling and technology in the 1500, and some good new spec bumps. Ram is going to have one hell of a truck. Ford will need to update a lot asap.

Until Ram and/or GM offer a tailgate step AND adaptive cruise in their HD models I won't even consider them.
