53 F100 Brakes

I am replacing the brakes on my 53 F100. On the rear brakes, the nut holding the main anchor pin (top) is extremely tight all the way off. The nut is past the end of the pin thread, but it still feels extremely hard to turn. Are these nuts generally staked on or something? Should I just keep forcing the nut even though it resists? I have used plenty of PB Blaster but that hasn't helped. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks.

go to Older classics and antique trucks and you will get a lot of help. This is for flat head motors only and probably does not get looked at much . Good luck.
