Those who have the Carli 2.0 commuter installed
Question for those who have had the commuter 2.0 installed, did your installer use both castor shims?
Original shop sent out for alignment and it came back with only passenger installed. Tech stated didn’t need both.I didn’t care for how it drove. Took it to another truck shop in a different state, asked them to install drivers side shim and align. He comes back stating now specs are worse than they were when I came in. Since he does all the level/lift kits for the local ford dealer I asked what they normally do? He stated they modify somehow the factory ones and achieve good alignment numbers. I told him to try that and it does drive better. Tuck still has what I feel is a slight wander. Was t too bad until I just had the tires rotated, now it’s more noticeable. Granted I’m running 37-12.50 on the stock 20’s also. With 6k miles on the truck needless to say I’m bummed. Carli has been great at answering questions on the phone and I have somehow left 2 shops now with out a print out of the actual alignment. Has anyone else been told the 2 degree shims were too much?
I read through Carli thread and only saw a few mentions of this. Sorry for starting a new thread, was trying not to get lost in the previous. If I can’t get this solved I’m either going back stock or having to figure out another route.

Crank the caster up. And find a shop that knows what they're doing. Another Ford dealer, or a 4x4 shop. I suspect the shop that installed just one shim has a machine that's messed up, or human error.
Normal tire shops don't have the attention to detail, or the skill level required to have the confidence to ignore the factory #'s.

I have the the Carli 2.5" commuter. Ran it with no shims, wandered all over the place. bump steer was very bad. Installed their 2* shims. everything was much better, had a pull to the right. Tried the suggested 2.6* (passenger) and 2.3* shims recommended here on the forum. Truck had a pronounced left pull. Sold my tires to a buddy, put another set on, put the Carli 2* shims back in. Now the truck drives very straight.
I installed a Fox stabilizer, bump steer is minimal.
I don't think there is enough caster from the factory. when the truck is leveled, it needs to be even more.
I would not be surprised if the the shop is using specs for a 2016 super duty.
