True Value of truck

I have a '80 F100 Ranger, XLT and am trying to find the true value to it & would like to get it to some peeps that appreciate Ford trucks. This truck was given to me from a very old friend prior to his passing, it has custom factory yellow paint, with white stripe, hard tonnue cover, striaght 6, 85k original miles. Can anyone help? I have multiple trucks, '05 F350 deisel 4x4 , '97 150 4x4 (bad ***)

You know it's sad - but, maybe with no rust, $1500.

Its real hard to put a value on a truck as a lot of factors come into play. I would start watching Craigslist, your local classifieds and ebay to determine what others are asking for trucks similar to yours. No doubt that the value of old trucks have come down in the last year and a half but there are still buyers out there. With those miles and if the truck is in solid condition it should sell if its priced right. Good Luck!

Smile True value of a truck.

I know you have probably heard this before, but here goes. The value of the truck is in the eye of the buyer or seller. Some are willing to pay more than others. Don't sell it for any less than you value it at. I wouldn't sell or trade my 84 Bronco for a new car. It is more valuable to me for my intent and purposes. Just my opinion.

If it was in nice shape I would have it apraised. That way if you keep it, you know how much to insure it for.

You can go to nada.com and get the fair market value.
