Hello...I have a '63 F-100 Unibody with standard 3-speed on the column and was wondering if anyone has swapped out the stock transmission with one with overdrive? My tranny has the numbers 74W and AB-7222-B cast in the housing which I assume can identify which model I have. Is there an interchange transmission that will simply bolt on?

The T-85 could come with the R11 overdrive. Here's an example of one.

Beginning in 1963, the standard equipment trans would be the Ford type 3.03 3 speed manual all synchromesh.

1961/64 F100 223/292 used the optional Warner T-86 3 speed manual with Overdrive.

The Warner T-85 3 speed manual with Overdrive was introduced in 1965.
