Kumho AT51 Anyone?

ROAD VENTURE AT51 - ALL-TERRAIN LIGHT TRUCK/SUV/CUV | BETTER ALWAYS KUMHO TIRE USA
Browsing for some new treads for the EX, either 265 or 285 75 16's
The BFG AT2 that it was purchased with are about done and unevenly cupped on the two fronts making for some good highway roar.
Does anyone have any experience with this tire under an excursion?
I dont offroad with my ex more than a dirt road but I dont like being stuck in the soft field or with wet grass going up hill with one of the utility trailers either.
The AT51looks to have enough space between lugs for decent wet area traction without the larger side lugs of the bfg... thinking would be a quiter tire on road.
Second choice just eyeballing online was bfg commercial traction if any experience with these under an EX as well.

Thanks for feedback !

I’ve had great luck with Cooper Discoverer STT Maxx 285’s on my F250. On my 4th set now. They are quiet, great traction, great wear and aren’t high dollar.
Those Kumhos look good but I have never used a Kumho.

Whichever tires you get, please post your opinions in the tire review thread covering the tire you purchase!

My brother put them on his Ex mainly because they were cheap and he doesn’t drive it much, his tires dry rot before he wears them out. Anyhow, I’ve driven it enough to say they are sufficient for highway use, launching a boat or the occasional ski trip.

I had the Kumho Mohave AT on my F250 and was not happy with them at all. These do look more aggressive than the Mohave though.
I have 3 sets of Toyo Open Country AT on Ex, F250 and F150, and am very happy with them, getting the most miles out of them that I have ever gotten, and I will be getting them next time around.
