Fuel pressure needs to be checked under load. Revving in park does not require enough fuel to expose a weak pump or partially clogged in-tank screens. You could rig up something temporarily to test it on the road, but if you're going to keep the truck I'd recommend a permanently installed gauge.
One trick is to blow light shop air back thru the lines from the fuel pump. Open fuel filler cap first. Some good write ups on here for that procedure. If the in-tank screens are clogged that can blow off the crud temporarily.

whoa Chet, lets not have him move too fast, bud. Firstcthing is, rebuildcturbo with new stock/aftermarket wheel. While doing so, check all your clamps, turbo butt alignment, boots..etc
