66 Center Support Bearing #

Just saw that there are several different bearing sizes for the center support bearing on the drive shaft.

#1: why so many sizes?
#2: any way to tell which size I need without removing the shaft? I need to move the truck out of the garage occasionally so Id prefer to leave it together if at all possible while waiting on the part to arrive (Im assuming Ill have to pull and measure; but, it never hurts to ask right?)

for reference: 66 f100 RWD, 352, NP435
