Aftermarket Valve Cover Choices

I was going to use the stock valve covers on my 5.8 project, but am now thinking I might go with something else. I'm interested in a clean appearance. Will be using the Edelbrock Truck EFI intake. What is everyone using for valve covers and how did they work out with roller rockers etc?

check out this build. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...8-build-2.html

If you are using cobra style roller rockers then you don't need something real tall. More a matter of taste as the Edelbrock intake has room for taller covers. I will be using the Ford Racing EFI Truck valve covers.

Thats a cool build. I was actually considering those valve covers as an option. I just really do not like the Racing script and wish Ford would have kept the Motorsport logo.

Summit had a house brand, cast aluminum plain, polished cover. Block-ish, looked semi-tall w/no holes. (U-drillum) Under $100.

Then there are 5.0 HO covers, new or repo that could be re-plumbed.

Yeah, I miss the Motorsports stuff too.
