Didn't expect I needed to open a machine shop just to fix this thing...lol! Anybody---got some add'l ideas??
Did you check with Mummert? Not sure if he can help but he has adapters & bellhousing mods.

Do you know anyone with a lathe ?
That would be relatively easy for anyone with a lathe to machine up in no time .

Since the bushing is wallowed out already I would take it to a local machine shop and have them bore it with a boring bar to fit a needle bearing pilot bearing. And reinstall it. I bet you could get the whole job done for less than $50 including the bearing.

It might be your best choice since you'll be able to possibly use a much more available "correct" size pilot bearing!

Glad to help regardless let us know what your fix is so others can do the same if they end up in the same situation.

I would still opt for a needle bearing pilot bearing in the bushing.. It will last longer like ten times longer and can be replaced when worn out with out making a new bushing ..
