I am getting ready to mount my radiator in my 53 Ford Truck project. It has been disassembled long enough that I am uncertain EXACTLY how the radiator was "positioned" in relation to the mounting Z-bars on the stock radiator support. Does anyone have a photo they could post that shows how the radiator is positioned and retained on/within the radiator support? With the replacement radiator that I have, I could position the radiator closer to the engine OR, I could mount the radiator more forward within the confines of the U-shaped radiator support. I am leaning on installing an electric fan so either position would probably work BUT, there may be fitment issues with subsequent sheetmetal if I have the radiator installed improperly.
