MBI Insurance

Do any of you guys carry any kind of MBI (Mechanical Breakdown Ins) on your trucks just in case something major happens like losing a fuel system or any kind of engine problems just Incase Warranty was denied for some reason?

This option seemed popular a few years ago and I was wondering if it’s still something too look into as now I’m looking at a left over 17 6.7.

Simple answer for me is no. My 6.7 PSD is 6 years old and 144k miles. The most expensive item I've spent to date on my truck is tires.

I have it on mine, from Geico. I have not needed to use it yet on the 6.7, but did on my 6.4 to replace the HPFP. That alone paid for all the money I had paid into and more.

Thank you,I’m not a sky is falling type of person but I do like to be prepared.Ive been on here for awhile and was around when a certain member had Fuel pump issues.Ive never owned a 6.7 and am coming from two great 6.0’s so admittedly I’m nervous about the so called “Sensitivity” of these trucks.

I talked to my State Farm agent and he said they wouldn’t cover any issues like that.
