2 of the 6.2's in our fleet dropped a valve and blew the engine. $8000 for long block swap.

Company is most likely going to go back to GM. Knuckle heads over at the Romeo plant again? Or a bad batch of valve springs?

Going to pull the calipers and rotors off the axles and throw them away. Have 4.30 gears, another waste.
What would you want for the whole drive-train? Does it have the main ECU and wiring harness?

Only 4 left that I Know of, I haven't seen all the trucks at the other branches. A 6.7L Ford arrived this week, so I have hope that we'll stay Ford.

Gears still available? Might be interested. I'm in Alaska though and have never changed out gears before. My truck is in my signature. Any idea what it'd take to swap out my 3.73's for those 4.30's? I haul quite a bit in the truck (very large TC, and our domestic water water 500 gallons at a time). I've wondered if the 4.30's would've been better and if ultimately they'd improve or hurt current fuel mileage.

I'm not motivated enough to pull the gears out of the axles. I will sell the complete front and rear axles for $1200.

Okay, thanks though. I'm not motivated enough to ship that much weight to Alaska just to get new gears.

Understandable, I wouldn't have shipped any of it, so no loss.

If you were closer, and I had the knowledge of getting it running with all the computers and sensors....I'd LOVE to put the 6.2L into my '88 F350. I was going to build a healthy 514 for it...but I think a 6.2L would be pretty sweet!

It can't be your indignant and sunny disposition hurting the sale.

You e not answered some of the questions. If you have the wiring harness and computer, you need to advertise this in the mustang forums. There have been a few 6.2 swaps done there and it has been pretty popular.

Everything went to the scrap yard a month ago.
