As most know, you cannot advertise items for sale in the tech forums here at FTE. There is a new sticky thread at the top that will however allow you to post your link to the Classified forums here at FTE, just please don't include any prices.

The purpose of this allowance is to strike a balance between keeping the regular tech forums from looking like Craigslist, while yet serving the specific needs of members who are only interested in '99-'03 era parts.

The ad itself must be placed in the Marketplace. What goes in the Sticky thread is simply an announcement to our subforum of the existence of the Marketplace ad. But the ad has to exist first, for it to be pointed to.

This way, the target audience most likely to be interested in the part can find out about its availability through the Sticky thread, without having to periodically browse through the entire Marketplace.
