Share Your Experience of Warn Winch Use
Hello, Guys! I would be glad to hear your impressions using a winch from Warn. I am working on the winch review site and would appreciate your help. Any information about the installation process and the winching itself will be of use. If you would like me to post your comments mentioning your name, I would do this with pleasure.

Look for issues with the free spool setting. When I was having problems with my winch (Mile Marker, not Warn) it appeared to be a problem that a number of winch manufacturers had, including Warn. Basically what happens is that the free spool setting is supposed to release a brake on the winch so that the line can be pulled out easily. I had two Mile Marker winches with the exact same problem. One went back to be repaired and came back to me still not working.
As far as the install process goes, this is slightly off topic but I used the Warn Quick Connect kit to run power from the engine compartment to the rear bumper. It's a very well put together kit. Should I buy another winch, that kit alone was impressive enough that I would lean towards Warn.
