Maybe others know this but I didn't. There is a company [firmfeel.com] that makes all kinds of upgrades for those of us with Volare front suspensions. I was really surprised to find them. Thanks to a local guy with a nice 56 F100 for sale and listed it as having tubular upper control arms. So I ask about them. I also asked if he had driven it before and after installation. He said he had and they made a very noticeable difference.

 

Good to know. I had said that I wouldn't use a Volare ifs again but the '56 panel that I just got back has Volare ifs and the '56 truck that I wrecked last July has the same so I will have spare parts. That's the problem that I have with them. The lack of available parts.

 

Good tip Joe, lots of us still have the Mopar IFS setups and could use all the help we can get as they wear.
