You may not be able to buy a brand new Harley-Davidson edition F-150 anymore. But this one is pretty darn close!

 

It's nice looking, but those are 2WD, right? It would have to be a Lightning for me to get a 2WD.

 

Yes, they are 2-wheel drive.

Curious, why would you only consider an L and not the Harley Davidson model? You know they have the same exact engine, yes?

It looks to be perfect, but you'd have to want it pretty bad to pay $56K for an 18 tear old truck. Even in nearly showroom condition.

 

the lightnings are supercharged and the Harleys that are supercharged have a lower h.p rateing ,but the Harleys are a super looking truck, I like the two door ext. cab and it's a flare side like the lightning,

 

THE SAME DEALER has another one with 7-8000 km's for 25K USD ... I've seen the add for it , same stripes on the wall

and in regards to the post above about harley trucks having the same motor as the lightnings
no , not in 00-01 just the standard basic 5.4 is all the harley trucks got
02 got the supercharged motors

there is a grey 02 harley truck that has been popping up here (3 years I know of) in the auto trader and kijiji - 99 km's , 49K

I'm currently shopping for a H-D F150 .. I've "seen all the adds" for the past two years lol
it's hard to expect peeps to pay as much or more for a non supercharged truck but I've seen 3 2000's so far at 35K -ish
all with moderately low mileage , plus this truck in the thread above and the s-c'ed 02 for 49K

too bad the 02 ain't an o3 100th anniversary truck .. BUT it is a MINT grey one ('s in ontario canada)
I found a nice all black 03 for 10K last year , now 9K this year
.. maybe but with premium fuel pushing $1.60 a LITRE up here ... pass

- I can actually squeak 25mpg outta my 01 supercab 5.4 if I drive it at a steady 55-55mph
if I push it to 60mph it tanks to 17 mpg's

just a nice rust free 00 supercab to replace my supercab lariat would do for me
though I'd rather if they were white with the fleetside box instead .. like my truck

eah but I do know where to get an absolutely perfect rust free 00-01 6 1/2 fleetside box - in white to boot lol
black to white colour change for the cab would be a bit of a pain but ..

lol SHARP eyes lookin' at my avitar might just notice the 03 H-D front fascia / air dam on my 01
I think it might have been the last one ford had as the part listing for it disappeared outta ford's parts listings two weeks after I bought it - I'd gone back to buy the little lower grille for it - which I managed to get

add the mint white southern fleetside box , paint the cab from the pinstripe down white , paint the top bit of the box black and make up a stripe decal like the red flaming 02 stripe but made to run from the grille frame edge to the back and around the corner to end each side above the tailgate handle
make the flame section start on the front fender just avove the harley-f150 tag instead of starting back at the box
lol -sepperates the black from the white
a 2012 gt500 motor and a six speed ZF truck trans
- and the lowering kit & hotchkiss barS in my current truck ...
-and a set of eagle alloys 211"s same as a are torque thrust but in 17x8 .. so I can keep my REAL TRUCK TIRES .. 265/70/17 like on my current truck
a truck needs real tires and a real trans if you're still gonna use it as a truck
