2003 drivers seat issue
My 2003 Expedition drivers seat has an issue, it is electric, driving down the road it just dropped down, i can get it to go back up, but it will not stay up. I do not mind welding/bolting or blocking it into position Any ideas on how to fix this? or what seats I can put into this car? there are not many in the yards near me, unless I can go back a few years.

What about replacing the electric motor/gearbox? They run about $100. The vertical tilt quit on my 2003 a couple years ago when it was my wife's. Now that I have it, I'm fixing the little things. I bought the motor a couple months ago, but haven't put it in yet. I'm guessing yours is the same or similar issue.
