1957 F350 Wanted

My dad had a 1957 F350 when I was a kid. Would like to buy one. Let me know what is out there. Thanks

A dually or single tire rear truck? You can use Search Tempest and eliminate a lot of fuss. You can choose how far away your willing to look, I'd search Ford F350. Might get a bunch of year trucks, but a lot of posters don't put the info on the site correctly anyhow. Might be surprised at what you find.

How long ago was this, 20 years? Somethings to consider:

1953/66 F350's have leaf spring front suspension and manual steering. Ride and steer like oxcarts.

No parts from any other year trucks can be swapped in to add power steering and/or front disc brakes or to swap engines.

These F350's also have 6 lug wheels on a 7.25" bolt circle, many are "widow makers" that most tire shops will not work on. No other wheel from any other Ford truck can be used.

Wait, wait wait! The SRW F-350s could have been spec’d when new with the 19.5” tubeless optional wheel. Budd 70740 (I don’t have the Ford number memorized). I have an available set listed in the swap area. The DRW F-350s could have been spec’d with tubeless 17.5s. Either Budd 71320 or 79120. Again there were Ford numbers but I’d have to get off the couch to look them up, unless Bill wishes to do it. I have a set of 79120s available too. Stu

70740 = B6Y-1015-B (replaced B6TZ-1015-D)

79120 = B6TZ-1015-A

Thanks! Search Tempest is awesome! I never knew about it. Thanks for the tip. I've saved a ton of time.
