When I replaced my wood garage door I took the panels up to the attic and put them thru the trusses from one end of the house to the other, makes a nice wide walkway thru the attic.

I should have made a walkway too but very seldom ever needed to get up there. I had to do the same thing when I put up a ceiling fan in our bedroom and should have done the small bedroom the same time even though it didn't have a ceiling fan but that's where the computer is now and a fan is nice but don't care to be pulling on a chain all the time...lol

The chain operates the fan and the switch operates the light. The two fans in the garage have a switch for the fan motor and a switch for the lights.

I just have the one switch to turn on the light and operate the fan by pulling the chain but don't like looking for the chain in the dark...lol

That is right. At least if you have a switch, you can turn the light on to see the fan chain.

I'd put another switch in but would be more work than what it's worth, in the summer the fan is usually on all the time anyways..

Morning all .. Took the beast to NH to pickup a used set of circular stairs. It is a nice riding truck and the wife was happy with the comfort of the passenger seat. Over all the display said 20.8 avg miles/gallons.
