I hate getting impressions done. I am looking at getting a partial next year to replace a couple of molars that have been pulled and also a failed crown that the root split in that still needs to be pulled.

 

I'm really looking forward to these being done. Be nice to have a full set of chompers again!

My dentist suggested that I do something because of the condition of the rest of my back teeth. It is close to being 50/50 with fillings and the remaining part of the teeth in back. With the partial, it will help to even everything out when it comes to eating so it should help to reduce the stress on the remaining teeth. The one towards the front needs to be addressed and the options were a partial or implant. The implant can still fail so I am opting for the less invasive and cheaper route for now, but implants maybe an option down the road. My dental insurance covers squat so all of this is out of pocket one way or the other. I am waiting for next year because I can pay for it through my flex spending account and all of the money that I am putting into the flex account has been allocated for other things.
