Nominations/Volunteers for NEW NC Chapter Leader
James, ncheavymetal, has decided to step down.
Nominations or volunteers for North Carolina Chapter Leader are now open.
Before nominating someone, be sure they are willing to accept the position.
Nominees/Volunteers please introduce yourself, provide a brief detail of what you do, where you live and add your first name to your signature.

FTE Chapter Leader
I have spoken to James about this, and I will volunteer.
Josh Hampson - BenzTechNC - Active member for several years. Have been to several FTE - N. Carolina events. Currently in IT, formerly a MB Master Tech. I live in Fuquay-Varina, NC.

I've been finding less and less time to devote to the chapter to make it current and effective. I've been missing functions and work days and dinners.
I've worked really hard over the years to get us to where we are. Now that we have such an active group its time for one of you to take over and carry on.
This chapter has has really grown and each and everyone of you that are active and continue to be active are the ones that make it happen. One thing that sets us apart from a lot of other chapters is that we know each other. We will ride halfway across the state to help each other. We will ride two hours one way on a week night to eat dinner with each other. I have meet so many good, knowledgale folks from this chapter.
I will still be lurking and doing my best to make it to dinners, work days and events but my life is too busy to put into the chapter what it needs.
Best wishes for the next chapter leader. I certainly hope you take what we've built and make it even better.

We all appreciate what you've done for the chapter the last several years, James.
We understand how busy life can get sometimes.
Just glad you didn't go "bow tie" like our last leader...

I'm good with Josh! I know I don't have the time myself either.
In the Minnesota chapter we were very similar to here. We camped together and helped each other, and so on. We all got together when we were up there last week even.
