Door latch and arm for 48-52

Midwest early Ford are now offering these for both doors a little pricey but well worth it. Installed the left one yesterday and what a difference in closing the door no more slamming to get it to latch

Wow More than a little pricey at $135. Is this what you installed?

this is one of those parts you never see or think you need until the door fly's open going down the highway. I welded up the old handle hole made it work as well as a 65 year old part can time for an upgrade

The same result can be had by tearing down the old latches and cleaning and repairing worn surfaces. That may not be for everyone though.
Curious if the new parts are imported and how they will hold up over time.
