Truck for sale, this site's For Sale area doesn't work

Sale on Ebay at this time:.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/17327576273...84.m1555.l2649

I'm very sad to see it go. It hurts.

I won't have a garage so it has to go. It's a 1973 Ranger XLT, 390, 428 Super Cobra Jet goodies on it, short bed, more on the Ebay description, too much to list here. I tried to use the 'want ads' on here, but the VIN number won't take whether I enter mine or leave it blank, otherwise I'd post it in the appropriate area.

I believe it does.

I guess the FTE updates do not accept a VI# with less that 17 or 18 #'s?

Sorry to see you have to sale it, I'd build a garage or get a carport put up, versus sale it.

You've got a very thorough description going there. Good luck with the sale!

I had issues with The Martketplace as well last week. I would get all the way through the process, and then hit SUBMIT.... and it would prompt me to download some 68 byte file. I tried that, but then the computer would ask me what to do with it. End result- the ad wouldn't place. Since my laptop is older, I tried on my brother's computer (which is fairly new) and I would get the same result. It was suggested to me to use a different browser instead of Internet Explorer. Well I don't have different browsers, and I do go downloading browsers into pc's.

I finally was able to make the ad work using my cel phone... ad finally got placed.

With all the computers on the planet that use Internet Explorer, why would software companies make programs that don't play nice with IE?

Since we are on the subject, where does the panel feel the best place to sell a dent is? I'm not sure what kind of fees Ebay charges on a sale like that. Also craigslist is usually on good for cheaper vehicles in my experience. Members on here likely already have a truck. Autotrader? Something else? Not sure how much the OP is trying to get fir the truck but it seems to be doing well on Ebay.

All these FTE "operating changes/updates" is making it way easier for me to go to my shop and just work on trucks...

IMO Ebay motors to sell a high dollar rig.. if you do not mind shipping to Nigeria and cashing the check for more than you are asking. lol
