Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone tried building a DIY kayak carrier for their F-150? I am aware of those aftermarket kayak racks, but at the moment I am short of money. If there is a build thread about that here, please help me find it as I didn't manage to find it so far. Cheers!

 

Man, I've never done that to my Ford, yet if you badly need it, you can do something similar to what this guy did - https://bullyusa.com/how-to-build-a-...for-truck.html. That won't break the bank and as far as I see, you won't have to drill your truck. Yet I am not sure if that's safe or street legal.... Anyways, just an idea
