Where can I rent a slide in?

I have a 2017 F250 Crew Cab short bed with a 2700lb payload capacity. I looked around the internet but I can only find rentals that include a truck. I don't want to add the expense of renting a truck when I have one capable of hauling a slide in. Any suggestions where I can rent just the slide in?

I have never heard of truck camper rentals that do not include the truck with it. My guess is the rental companies do not want the liability or responsibility of someone renting one that does not have all of the correct tie downs etc..

I'd be surprised to find a camper rental that is not matched to a truck. Considerations are tie downs, wiring harness, camper to truck fit, the various suspension set ups, GVRW's and on and on....all things a rental outfit or their insurance company would not want to venture off into the unknown with, especially the insurance company.

Thanks, guess those reasons are why I can't find one. I don't have enough cash to buy a new pop up. If I'm only going to use it a few times a year would a used one be ok to buy?

My thought would be buying used always offers the opportunity to save money. It depends on what you are looking for, but run “SearchTempest” so you can put multiple states of Craigslist at once.

Cruise America includes a truck...and all those other links have trucks or are located in Canada. But thanks for trying to help.

Go to “droptopcampers.com” they advertise they rent campers for whatever truck you own, but located in Washington state I believe.
