I bought a Signal Stat 900 turn signal switch on a Trying to wire it into the plug on the steering column of a 1988 Ford LTA9000 which has 6 pins.
There is a blue wire left out of the 6 pins I cant find on the wiring diagram i have. Also 2 wires left over on the new turn signal switch. Can someone help?

Which Signal Stat 900 switch did you get, there several versions of it
How many wires to you have and what are the colors
The blue wire is normally the flasher feed back to operate the light in the switch but not all switches have that light
Does your switch have a button on the end of the handle that operates the dimmer switch on some trucks, this takes a couple more wires and is a future not used on your truck.

 

Thanks but I found my problem. The previous technician wired the power and load to the same terminal then had the pilot ran to the other terminal on the two way flasher. I ran new wire and works great. Thanks for the reply.
