What is the C6 trans from? 390 and C6 not available until 1968. 1967 would have a 352 with MX Cruise-O-Matic.

Transmission pan: MX Cruise-O-Matic has 14 bolt holes, C6 has 17 // On sale day, 352's
magically become 390's!
It's the same old story, people swap parts but fail to list what the parts came from.
Then they or subsequent owners are up the proverbial creek without a paddle...don't know where to find parts.
Here's a pic (upper) from the truck parts catalog, maybe you can find something that'll work.
Click on the pic twice to enlarge it, then use the cursor to move it.

7A187 in pic (post #4) is the kick down rod
Here's a pic from the 1973/79 truck catalog. Upper shows the NSS (same 1967/77), lower shows the shift linkage. No pic like this in 1964/72 catalog.

It is just a one piece rod. If you went from a 2V to a 4V carb the rod may be a bit short. If this is your problem buy an extension Holley part 20-41.
