Some, but not a bunch. I can go from Maryland to Colorado without a regen.

But when I unhook, it will regen as soon as it is up to temps.

The trade off is def, you will use more def when towing. But I average 4500-5000K between fillups. Since mine is a 2013 I have the 5.5 gal def tank.

Not sure if they changed that for the 2016 or not, I know they did for the 2017 models.

I, like many of the other guys, went from a 6.0L to a 6.7L with big hesitations. There is a night and day difference between the two engines whether you chose to keep the DPF or not. It's a none issue as far as I'm concerned.

Almost $30,000 for a truck with 275,000 miles on it? Holy cow! I think I'd want to pay $18-20k for that truck, Platinum or not. At that mileage, I'd want to know if it had the original DPF or not, if the fuel system was original, what work had been done on it.

Scott, I was under the impression that the truck regens at 500 miles regardless of how full the DPF is. I believe GM's sense the before and after exhaust flow and trigger regens based on the difference in exhaust flow. At least the 12 - 16's. The 17s and 18's may be different.

Hey Chuck, I'm just wondering if when towing, Senix's passive regen mode is working well enough not to trigger an active one. I had that happen to me last year in Kentucky when the truck went active for a mile or whatever and regen shut off. I was doing a lot of highway driving, no towing.

not mine, it will just stay at zero and not regen. Although there is suppose to be a backstop that will have a mandatory regen...I seem to avoid it.

I have 1100 highway miles on my 2018 and have had no sign of a regeneration yet. I drive with no radio on and watch the dashboard constantly. No sound or lights to indicate anything about a regeneration.....

There are no lights or dashboard indications of a regen on a 2017+ Super Duty...
