Anybody here rockin' a boat like this??

Check out the custom sweet thing in this video

We have a large lake where I'm working at, possibly moving closer to, and I'm ~12 hour drive from the upper west coast; may go a couple of times a year, thinking really hard on it.....

Anxiously waiting for weather to break and tow with our new F350. Pics are fall of 2017 with our 2012 F350. Waiting on rear lowering blocks for the new truck to get everything to line up perfect like it did last year.

Hey VooDoo Rob, in the interest of being a good FTE member I would volunteer to "boatsit" during the winter months. That would save you the money of storing and winterizing your rig. Those big 'ol nasty Mercs would benefit from the occasional off-season workout also... That's a seriously nice rig.

Thank you much B.C., we are very fortunate to have it. Not the fastest, biggest, baddest but fits what we want out of boating. Boat has gone 104 on its best day, doing a Whipple upgrade to get a consistent few more ticks on the MPH meter.

Out west there are a lot of Aluminum tubs. My last boat used for offshore fishing and chasing salmon on the Columbia R.

Downsized to the current boat which is a jet for mostly river fishing and fun.

The two happiest days of a boat owners life:

1. The day he BUYS the boat.
2. The day he SELLS the boat.

I bought a brand new 2002 Regal Commodore 3060 way back when. ~16 years of ownership. Loved the first ~13. Despised the last ~3. But it was a big, expensive boat (not your normal trailer boat).

Every time I turned around, it was BOAT: Break Out Another Thousand

This will be our first season since 2002 WITHOUT a boat, and I am SO looking forward to it.

I always said, the cheapest way to own a boat is to show up at the dock with gas money and a case of beer. I can start doing that now ..

P.S. - Those are some mighty nice boats you guys have (posted above).

Boat question. Why is it I can always tell the Pacific Northwest folk by the types of boats that they have?
i.e. why do the boats up in the PNW have those cabins/pilothouse? We don't see ones like that all along the Mid-Atlantic.

Because when it isn't snowing, it's raining.

There is some truth to that. I was boatless for 7 months once. Worst 7 months of my life. I can only fish/boat with a couple close friends that have boats. Other than them, I have to be my own captain even though it's nothing but than a hole in the water in which one throws money into. Used to spend 50-60 days a year on the water and it's worth every "boatbuck".
