55 "C" 600 gas filler neck rubber seal source

Good Monday all. Ive tried Dennis Carpenter,Macs & one other supplier I can recall's name and each sent the same size/quality rubber gas tank filler neck seal. Each are the same size etc albeit with different part numbers. They all are too flimsy/and too small for the opening they are supposed to seal/cover in my 1955 C600 COE. see the picture i guess the COE has a bigger cutout in the cab than a F series truck...help!!?

Call chucks trucks. He can probably help you. He has every part to restore my 52 coe. So, maybe he has what you need. Also tell him what your issues are with your seals. He always has good advice and extremely knowledgeable

I looked at carpenters site. They have two listed. One listed for 53 to 56, which is listed wrong and is the wrong one with part number BAAA-9080-A and another for 53 to 55 which is the right one with the part number BAAA-9080-B. But 56 fillers are different than the 53 to 55.

This should fit 53 to 55. This pic from their page.

This is the wrong one for 53 to 55

So the one you need is more elongated. I can't believe Carpenter would make a mistake like this on their website.

ALL 1953/55 trucks except Panel Delivery use the same 'Fuel Tank Filler Neck Grommet' = BAAA-9080-B .. 7.56" length x 5.06" width.

BAAA-9080-A is 1953/56 panel // 1956 (except panel) is B6C-9080-A .. 3.34" O.D.

Carpenter is infamous for glitches, the latest concerns a new repro core support. Carpenter says
1966 F100/250 2WD & lists the Ford part number: C6TZ-16138-C .. It ain't!

C6TZ-16138-
C = 1965 F100/250 2WD & 1966 F100 4WD // C6TZ-16138-B = 1966 F100/250 2WD // So which radiator support did Dennis "Glitch" Carpenter reproduce?

Hey there Bill....two things PLEASE email me YOUR Email address and your HOME address----I want to snail mail you something.. Also is there a way to email to my private email the EATON 1350 Illustration I cant seem to get the one off of the site to print or to copy and paste or anything but to view it from the Forum's page which is not nice for saving it or using it really...My thoughts are if that Break Down illustration were emailed to MY email [email protected] as a pdf attachment I could do a lot of things with it.
