I have a 2007 E450 with 6.0 powerstroke and a transit bus body.
My issue is that the fuse for the radio, interior lights a sign lights, keeps blowing. It's a large 40amp located in the engine compartment. Basically everything associated with the battery shut off switch. Not even sure the purpose of the switch. Is there an easy way to troubleshoot this? Thanks for any information!
Unfortunately you might need a Diagnostic Scanner ......see if there are Codes Present ........You defintely need a wiring diagram and a decent multimeter.....and alot of luck....First thing is checkall fuses.....then make sure you have at least Battery Voltage ......the last thing or FIrst thing is Grounds.....and you need the book / Diagram for that......simple visual check would to look at the battery leads at the block ot whatever ( Under the Truck ) to make sure the is a good ground..........good luck...
Aftermarket body installed, blowing fuses...
you need to start tracing wires and inspecting components. Probably some pot smoker at the aftermarket body company accidentally created a path to ground that shouldn’t exist.
I see see no reason that a diagnostics code scanner would help you with an electrical circuit related to body lights/wiring.
