Dual Holley 1904s or Holley 94s

Hello FTE folks,
I have a 1958 Panel with a 223. I have 2 Holley 1904s and I am awaiting a Offy 2x1 manifold that has 2 Holley 94s on it. Any thoughts regarding one pair being better than the other? I know the 94s are 2 barrels vs the one barrel 1904s. I'm thinking the 94s will be too much carb for the 223. I plan on installing a set of headers also but not know the better/best ones to go with. Other than the intake and exhaust I have a Pertronix kit for the distributor and will be finishing the power disc brakes and the power steering conversions this summer.
Thanks for providing this resource of information,
Glenn
