Installing aftermarket window. Help needed please!

Hi guys,

Im wondering how easy it is to install a flat window from an RV into my van.
i bought a window off craigslist that was so much cheaper than crl windows that i was looking at online( plus im in Canada so the postage sucks here ).
its 37.5 by 16.5 and i wanted to put it behind the driver's seat wall.
Im going to build a frame to counteract the depth of the clamping ring but does any one know how i can deal with the curvature of the van wall?
When i put a straight edge over the curve it seems there's going to be some gaps on the top and bottom of the window that would need filling or its going to warp the paneling....

has anyone done this before? any help would be appreciated!! really don't want to spend $100s of bucks on a clr window.

THANKS!

I've seen it done after the fact. Depending on the differance, the gasket and seal may make up the differance.
