Here is currently where I am at with my build. I have a TCI chassis with IFS and a 4-link rear and power rack and pinion steering. A 302 from an 87 Mustang with a C6 tranny have been mounted. Does anyone have any suggestions for long tube headers (brand, model #, etc.)? From what I've read, seen in person, and been told, it seems a majority of folks go with shorties. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Not sure about your front suspension but on my 53 with a flat out c4 vette front the flowtech 32100 flt fit very nicely and are long tube ceramic . This is on a 408w .
I had to use shorty mustang headers with the rear flange connection... the crown vic front suspension limits what you can put around the bottom end of the engine.
I use coated block huger exhaust headers , 33" column, steering u-joint, mustang II suspension, Mustang GT engines-- good combo and works , clean look-- good luck
