Help with wipers on '93 E350 Church van
I am trying to fix the windshield wipers on the church van. They work once in a while, but now seem to have stopped completely. I checked for cold solder joints on the governor control and do not see any. I don't know which wires are hot and ground depending on the switch positions. At this point I am leaning towards the switch being the issue, but I do not want to buy it and not have that be the issue. I am doing this repair on a limited budget. Trying to do it for less than $100.00 complete.
I need the wiring diagram of the switch, the governor, and the motor, so I can test the wires, to see which of these items may be causing the issue. I have looked all over but can't find the correct wiring diagram. Does anyone have one I could see, or know where I can find one?
Thanks!
Mike

Here you go Mike. Get your voltmeter and test probe ready. This covers your 1993 specifically. My '94 had intermittent wipers with the interval feature acting really screwy. I replaced the turn signal/wiper stalk unit and it took care of everything. The prices at RA are really good. I got a Motorcraft closeout for under $20.

Well, It turns out the switch is not the culprit. It is the wiper control governor. Now to find one of those at a reasonable price. Not even sure where to start looking, because my local parts stores say they can't get it. They say they can't even find a part number. On pg 81-2 of the pdf it lists another page number 151-9-810 under the wiper control module. Do you have that page? Maybe I can fix it on the board level.

Thank you for that. I don't plan on doing much with it. I was just helping out to save the church some money for the youth van. Basically I am donating $100 for parts and free labor. It is still raining here in Oregon, so the windshield wipers need to work, or the kids can't go anywhere. There is a concert about 60 miles away that they need to use it for on Sunday night. Your help means a lot.
Thank you!

That was the wrong part (LOL) 1997 and up! but I found a link for the correct one, using the terminology of that one. I bought it for $39.00 shipped. It will be here Monday. For now I will just install a temp switch for this weekend's concert. Simple and I have parts laying around that I can do it with.

From what I can find out that module fits many applications. Here's a used one I found on eBay, but I really didn't look too hard, might be better deals, and it lists a part number for easier searching. https://www.ebay.com/itm/YC2T-17D539...item25f0f8b7a8
