bolts for whole front clip
Hello All,
Its been awhile since I have been on. Since the wood splitting season is almost over I started working on my 63.Just finished blasting the whole front end. Have been searching for a bolt kit for the complete front clip. Would like to know if I should buy bolts and clips from AUVECO? If you buy 4 or 5 clips from autozone, and they only carry a few at a time it will take a long time to get enough for the truck. So I thought it was better to by in bulk and have some left over. It would take longer to put nuts and bolts and washers together but I guess it would work. What do you do on your trucks? Or best place to go in western ohio? Thank You

These would appear to be them on eBay.

Price seems wild for 2. I guess Auveco doesn't make them any more???
I have some NOS Ford that I bought some years ago - they were also used on the perimeter of the transmission cover plate - in the floor - so my 4x4 trucks use 10 of them in that location.

Interesting how the ones in the eBay ads are plain steel, too. The originals had a phosphate coating (S2) as you can see in my pictures. Might be good to put some coating on them.
I've heard good things about these guys and they do military grade Manganese phosphate. I'm planning on sending them a box full of small hardware.
