Hi all, new to this side of FTE (normally over in the obs side). But, after 2 good years of no needed maintenance on the mkx its pissed. So, was going to do an axle seal (front right from trans) but was missing a part. So put a on that. But replaced both front pads n rotors. After replacement, started car, pressed pedal a few times, and then i noticed the brake light was on (red in lower right corner) and had a message for "check brake system"

autozone was no help in hookingup to car. Their scanner wouldnt read brake, only engine. I do have an abs code for front left wheel speed but thats old and waiting to order part. The red brake and message is new right now. Any input as to culprit? Will be hooking up to better scanner monday.
