Current Project 1966 F-100 482
I have owned more FE powered rides than I can count.
My current daily driver is a pretty Rare 1966 F-100 Ranger. factory FE power that gets 20+ MPG in stock trim. Usually FE and MPG are not used in same sentence.
Another rarity is trying to get 14+ MPG with a Dual Quad 482 FE. Disappointed at less than 14 mpg but expecting/hoping for 16. Not to mention 600 + lb ft tq.

I did add the 482" FE but even the block has proper date code. Just happens to be exact date of engine removed.
Brake upgrade so I can actually drive it 14" 6p so had to go minimum of 18" wheel. Other than that it will remain stock appearing right down to stock I Beams and original rear axle but upgraded N case with better parts axles

I am running a CobraJet C-6 from a 1969 SCJ 428 Mach 1. Converter is a custom 9 1/2” Billet. Gear Vendors Overdrive & 31 spline 9” with 3.50 gears.
Solid street roller cam. Wanting something I can drive daily, make good power but yet not kill the wallet in mpg. Reason for the Dual Quad EFI also.
