Full sized spare tire

Where are you guys putting 35 inch full size spare tires on our trucks?

they don't hang underneath very well. Are you modding something under the box?

thanks alot

Believe it or not my Bfg mud terrain km2 35x12.5 fits under the box in the stock location. Just rubs my 4 inch exhaust, but hangs out between the receiver perfectly.

I used a 275/70R18 spare when I had 35x12.50R17s. There's no reason a smaller spare can't be put on the front to get you home (says the guy that drove 300+ miles at 55mph on a 10 year+ old spare last summer).

If you really need a matching spare (for what I can't imagine short of needing a beadlocker in the boonies at Moab because everyone's air compressor died and there is no ether or alcohol for 100 miles), put it in the bed.

If you want to do five tire rotations, keep it in the garage at home until you need it.

I carried a 35" tire under the bed of my 2002 F250 for years and I have put a 37x13.50x20 under the bed of my 2012.

Thanks for this info. I have been wondering if I could fit a 37 under my 2016 if I removed the heat shield. I thought I had read a long time ago that someone had done it.

In my 2003, I put my 315/75R16 spare under the bed in the stock location most of the time, but I also bought one of these to put it in the bed when I was going off-road:

Go Industries Spare Tire mount

I have the stock tire size on my 2015, but I am pretty sure that a 35" tire would fit without any issues since the stock one is a 33" tire and there is some room to spare.

And you already know that my muffler isn't going back on...... pulling the bass boat through the hills today here in Northwest Arkansas I was grinning from ear to ear listening to the 6.2

It might fit under your truck but may rub. One of my older 1/2 tons was able to accommodate a spare 35 incher. Give it a shot.
