Full sized spare tire

I used a 275/70R18 spare when I had 35x12.50R17s. There's no reason a smaller spare can't be put on the front to get you home (says the guy that drove 300+ miles at 55mph on a 10 year+ old spare last summer).
If you really need a matching spare (for what I can't imagine short of needing a beadlocker in the boonies at Moab because everyone's air compressor died and there is no ether or alcohol for 100 miles), put it in the bed.
If you want to do five tire rotations, keep it in the garage at home until you need it.

In my 2003, I put my 315/75R16 spare under the bed in the stock location most of the time, but I also bought one of these to put it in the bed when I was going off-road:
Go Industries Spare Tire mount
I have the stock tire size on my 2015, but I am pretty sure that a 35" tire would fit without any issues since the stock one is a 33" tire and there is some room to spare.
