CCLB build 3 Trucks into 1

Hey guys just wanted to share my build with you. I finally have found all the pieces I will need to pull this off, and I am now just begining this project. I have had my 97' powerstroke for 10 years now and living in new york its getting pretty rusty (most of the panels have been replaced as you will see) plus its a single cab and I have always wanted a crew cab, The plan for the new truck is going to be 7.3 with a ZF5, rosewood stage II's, T500, T4 mount with S366, 6" skyjacker lift, 2WD to 4X4, etc. Im taking a 2WD crew cab and putting it on a F superduty frame with a flatbed.

This is my current daily

This is the F Superduty frame im using, bought the whole truck as is for $500!

Bought this for the powerstroke/ZF5 swap, only 170K on it

And here is the clean Colorado body, truck was a 460 auto. The previous owner called it "Moby" haha

Got a used Dana 60. When did those become so hard to find?! And expensive!!!!

DRW Dana 60. Scored it for $150.

I’d say they got their money out of the rotors......

We only have ourselves to blame. It's all the forum buzz over F250 straight-axle swaps, over the last 6 years or so, that has created all the demand, and driven up the value.

So does the C&C frame have the upward dog-leg just behind the cab, like the pickups do? If so, you may need to body-lift the front part of the crew cab.

Axle is all stripped down. I bought this product called coroseal and I tried it on a spare housing I had. It’s a rust converter.

It goes on foamy and is suppose to look black when done. I guess I’ll see later when I go back to the garage.

I’d say finding one with the dually adapters already on it was tough. Good find. People also like throwing them under jeeps.

Yeah everyone loves the Dana 60. The thing is I was looking for a SRW Dana. This truck isn’t going to be DRW, all I could find were DRW. So I just have to swap hubs and I’ll be all set.

Hang on to those hubs. They're not easy to find and are worth something to anyone trying to do a DRW 4x4.
