Passenger Wiper Delete Plug Install

My 50 F1 had a delete plug in for the passenger wiper and i i was going to put a wiper there but then i figured why? Since it didn't come with one and i had the original i restored and painted it, ready for install. Does anyone know if it should have the leather gasket or just go in bare? Not really worried about leaking since this truck will not be in the rain a lot but i just want to do it correct.

Thanks, that's what i was thinking. The leather gasket is just too much for my liking. I'm going with something similar to yours....also with a bit of sealer just to be safe.

I got mine from Mac's (#48-17926-1) the gasket worked well with the wiper pivot bezel drivers side but needed trimming on the passenger side delete plug.... ended up looking like Roy's Image.

Mine actually broke taking it out...I ended up using a big stainless steel carriage bolt ....polished with a rubber washer on it...snugged it up just enough...it looks good and adds some bling to it!....

All of the cabs that I have had actually had gaskets under the wiper delete plugs just like the working wiper pivot uses.
