Nearly 500 cars . We were early on the 80 top cars . Top 30 of almost 500 . Brother Jim from Wis . was visiting & attended his 1st car show as an entrant and the little woman was along for support also . . This sat. is the Elliot museum show where the truck was awarded Best in Class '49-'69 last yr. Am getting the lucky parking spot again .

 

It has taken a lot of effort for you to get your truck into top condition and even more now that you are displaying it at the various car shows. Congratulations on your rewards, you certainly deserve them. Although your countenance is rather stoic, I’m sure the inner pride is beaming.

When honeymooning in Florida many moons ago, I can remember the love bugs smashing against the grill and windshield of my car. I do not know what precautions you take but I would not want to clean that crud of such a beautiful vehicle.

 

The "Firstride" has seen many shows lately via means of enclosed trailer . Am so glad it was purchased 1 yr. ago. Sat show at the Elliott Museum in Stuart , Fla. April 14 in Grant , Fla & April 28 in Lake Helen , Fla. Local shows we take "Art" the hot rod truck . It is so much fun to drive .Took brother Jim for a ride this afternoon . The passenger side head rest was very helpful . Just sayin !
