Funny thing is I had seen that people were doing that although when I mocked up the subframe with the engine on it and the wheels I’m going to use which are 22” and centering the wheels it was behind the centre line. (I’m guessing because they are pretty big it changes the look of the opening) Plus with the engine in, there isn’t much room in the front of it for the rad and fan.

oh, and Mike I’m glad you bought that up because it reminded me that I wanted to mention that I remember seeing some other cv swaps and people were talking about the angle of the control arm brackets and how to install them. this may have been covered although I just haven’t seen it so I’m going to point something out. If you don’t want to mount them on a 45 all that has to be done is press the bushing out of the bracket then press it back in where ever you prefer. If you aren’t able to, any automotive shop should be able to.
