Halo headlights?

I'm in the middle of doing some pretty major work on my 86 f250 (7.3 swap) and I can't help but look at the more unnecessary stuff sometimes to help spruce up the old girl on the outside and one thing that keeps catching my eye is these new halo headlights. https://www.ebay.com/itm/7x6-H4-Black-CCFL-Halo-Projector-Glass-Headlight-Conversion-w-Bulbs-Pair-GMC/263516598029?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.M BE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D44040%26meid%3Dc3538421c618492 da34308758bdf0877%26pid%3D100623%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D 6%26sd%3D263508792154%26itm%3D263516598029&_trksid =p2047675.c100623.m-1. . now I am only 19 so that probably more apealing to me than most but I was wondering if any of you have done this / what do you think?

I've been looking at them as well, really like the looks of it. I do believe however the inside of the bezels should be painted black though, and the rest of the car should look brand new - so this is just an added feature at the very end of the job...

I did not see on the link that the lights are DOT compliant?
So could be illegal to use them on the road but ok for cars/trucks not driven on the road and are a show only car/truck.
The other thing is they may say they put out more light but it is not focused where it does any good like on the road in front of you.
It may be ALL OVER the place and blinding on coming drivers.
Do a search on here for post on I think it was HID head lights as there is a lot of good information in it.

Me just wire in relays and the head lights will be brighter and will be useable light!
Then again I only add things to my cars/trucks that help me when using it, not for looks (bling) unless it was on them when I bought them.

All this LED aftermarket crap is not DOT complainant, just look at the box, probably will say "off road use only", yet numerous yah-hoos out there are using them.
Ever drive by one coming your way at night, and you are left with a "blue dot" burned into your retina for the next fifteen minutes?

Go a head, install what ever you want, all you need is one DOT cop or State-ie with a hair across his a** and you will be surprised of the penalties.
Seen it happen is CT, Impounded.....
