Friday afternoon, my F150 was taken to the dealer on the rear of a flat bed tow truck. Wife was coming home from our son's house. Driving up a hill on a hilly 2 lane country road, it suddenly dropped down into limp mode. Speed went down to about 5 or so miles an hour. Luckily was able to nurse it up the hill, and over to a parking area. The wrench came on at the same time.

I was at the doctor's office when it happened. After getting to where she was, about an hour later, I tried starting the truck. Started right up, and no wrench was showing. The tow truck had already been called so we sent it to the dealer to find out what is wrong.

Pardon my mistake. I posted this on the wrong forum. I should have been on the 2009-2014 F150 forum.

Pretended I had a truck, and not just a big car, and hauled my new love seat home.

auto stop

I installed an Auto Stop Eliminator so I don't have to keep turning off that button for the auto stop on the dash every time I start the truck.. It was well worth it!

I used the product AE000 which was for a 2019. It has the auto stop button and hazard light button on the same switch. It took about 10 minutes to install, but you have to be agile to get behind the dash to push the clips on either side of the switch so you can pull the switch out and work on it. To access the back of the switch, lift the rubber mat on the dash tray and undo the two 7mm bolts on the tray. Then lift up. There are three "clips" that hold the tray as well as the two 7mm bolts. Just lift straight up and they will come undone.

Thanks for the review - also interested. I'm weary of disabling the BMS through Forscan to achieve this. If there is another 25% off discount code, I'll probably pick one up though I've gotten so used to pushing the button, that would turn the system back on with this installed.

Washed today - loving the Ingot Silver super forgiving. Settling in on 1 wash per month. I'm good with that.

The 1700BH looks to be the only floorplan (that I noticed) that has a single axle. Looked like all the rest were dual axle.
