Welcome to FTE. This link has some pictures and illustrations of N series trucks. The N1000 would have been the heaviest of the group, with either a diesel or a Super Duty gas motor. (401/477/534)

What are you considering doing with this truck?

What info do you have, other than the name and location?

Yes, a VIN can be decoded, but you have not included one. The VIN and the rest of the information on the warranty plate affixed to the drivers door will tell a lot about the truck.

Actually planning to use it for an occasional parade for kids. I have a pic of the Vin tag but it's a little hard to read.

OK stand by. N8 should be an N800 but I'll wait for the final results.

Ed, the OP posted this info in another thread. The problem is, it's a confusing mish-mash, some of which makes absolutely no sense at all.

I typed the sequence of the Warranty Plate, added further info. OP said it has N1000 emblems, but the VIN decodes to an LN800 (gas) w/a 330 2V M/D FT engine.

Look at the 208 net HP the OP posted and 2,800 RPM .. That's no more related to a 330 2V M/D FT than it is to a henway!
