Amazon flush mounted Bull rings vs Ford Bull rings

Can someone explain the difference between the bullrings on Amazon($29 a pair shown below) compared to the Ford bullrings($89 a pair)besides the obvious $60?
Are they the same or are the Ford ones significantly better?

Anyone here purchase the Amazon bullrings and we’re happy with their price and performance?
It seems from reading the questions and the reviews that the manufacturer of the Amazon Bull rings actually makes products for Ford so it makes me wonder are they indeed the same with just “Bull ring” or “Ford” being the difference?

I purchased the amazon Bull Ring product. Been on my '17 SD over a year now. I had the same ones on my previous truck too. Never had an issue with them. However, let me preface I will ratchet down cargo with care, I am always aware that its an aluminum bed so I'm mindful and I don't over torque it.

I doubt there is any difference other than the name cast on the plastic. I put the Bullrings on my truck. They fit perfectly. Can't tell they're there since they are perfectly flush with the bed rail. I use them when I have to tie down a tarp or cargo that won't stress the bed rail.

Love mine, it beats the heck out of trying to reach over the tall bed to tie things down. Simple pop up and tie down. I serious doubt there is any difference between the two.

The ones from Amazon are indeed the same as the Ford ones. BullRing makes the Ford units. So, buy the BullRing brand on Amazon and save some $.

I purchased the BullRing brand from Amazon about a year ago for my 2016 which also has the UnderCover Flex Tonneau Cover on it. They work well and even work while the tonneau is closed which is one reason I purchased them. I use them frequently to strap down limbs and branches.

So it looks like you need the offset version 4035 for the front pockets and 4025 for the rear. Can anyone that’s installed them confirm?

4025 is what I used for all four pockets. The ford ones say “Ford” where the bull ring models have a fish symbol if I remember correctly.

I have the 4025 in both the front and rear pockets. They work great and the only difference between the "Ford" and the regular Bullrings are the stamped Ford logo on the "Ford" ones. I got mine in eBay in a four pack directly from Bull ring and saved a couple of bucks over Amazon but it looks like the prices are the same now.

  • IMPORTANT PRE-PURCHASE INFO: CHECK YOUR RAIL CAP NEAR THE CAB FOR MISALIGNED FORD FACTORY HOLES
  • For Mis-Aligned holes, near cab use 4035 Offset-

this is from amazon. So, what is this "misaligned factory holes"? I just popped the covers off my stake pockets and didn't notice any misalignment. My 350 has a build date of 10-17
I will be ordering the 4025's

Same. Let us know if you run into any alignment problems?

On some early 2017's, the stake holes in the plastic bed rail caps were not centered over the holes in the bed rails themselves. Therefore, when you went to install the Bull Rings, they did not line up. Mine lined up just find though and I haven't heard of this issue lately so I'm thinking Ford likely addressed it.
