Just a different location and will allow easier tying down up high instead of down in the bottom of the bed.

 

^^^whs. I try to use the bed tie downs as much as possible, but with the motorcycles, I use the bull rings on top so I don't have to run the tie down through the spokes. Just makes life a little easier.

To the op, another bull ring user here, had them in my 13 all the way up to current. Great product.

 

The 4025 is the four-ring pack. It has two rings that have a slight offset for the front pockets and they come with a label on the rings telling you to mount them to the front pockets. The Bullrings have a small fish in the ring's well and on the top surface they have "Bullring" marking. And yes, they are a great alternative to Box Link when tying down since they are very easy to reach.

 

This is not correct. You may have ordered them in a set, but the 4025 part number is a pair. Clearly says that on Amazon and Bull Ring's website, and that's how I ordered and received them.

 

Hmm. I just looked at the order and it shows 4025 as the item number. I ordered one. In the item text it says "two pair" and that's how they were boxed from Bullring...all four in a single box with two having the label for mounting at the front of the bed. To wit;

 

 

Same for me when I ordered from Amazon - got ones marked for use on the front pockets.

They fit and work great. I'm very happy. No problems with interference with my BAKflip either.

Just installed all 4 Bull Ring. Ordered #4025's from Amazon as a set of 4. I didn't need the offset ones, my bed cap lines up fine in front.
But, they sent a pair of 4025 regular and a pair of the offset ones, with the packaging stating 'front bed pockets'
No problem, the offset Bull Rings fit fine in a non offset bed rail cap.

 

Anyone interested in buying the Bull Rings off of Amazon, they have a deal for same $29.95 that give you four straps. I just ordered two pairs....eight straps will be coming my way too.

 

Youch! That same item is $108.25 on their Canada website. But free shipping!

 

Dude, thats a hell of a deal! I just bought 3 pairs two weeks ago so I missed out on 12 free straps, oh well. The 4025's are better built than the previous rings in that you can pull up on the ring and it will lock in the up position.

 

Any of you guys overly concerned about using these bull rings with the aluminum beds?

 

And thanks for the heads-up. I just ordered 3 pairs. Still wondering if any of you are concerned about using these with the aluminum beds, tho.

 

For what it's worth, Ford supports them as an OEM accessory.
