Crown Vic steering question - whats the joint/fitting called?

I'm getting ready to purchase the steering joints for my crown vic suspension swap into my 72 F100. The crown vic steering rack has a unique looking fitting. Is that whats called the 3/4" Ford V? And is the stock fitting on the F100 steering column a 3/4" 36 spline?
Thanks

The Crown Vic side is a Mustang V 3/4in, the steering shaft after you the cut off the rag joint should be a 36 spline. It is always best to count half the splines and double it then you can confirm the 36 spline count.

I used the following on my build.

Borgeson 014955 3/4 DD to 3/4 Mustang V
Borgeson 013499 3/4 36 spline to 3/4 DD
Borgeson 409436 3/4 DD 36" steering shaft

hey man sounds like your familiar with this swap haha. Anyhow I'm doing a frameup and will have discs in the back. Would I be able to use the brake booster/master cylinder and proportioning valve from the crown Vic?

Doing mine as we speak. I have rear disc as well but I went with the Explorer Brake Booster and Master Cylinder from Pick N Pull, new MC of course. It has a 1-1/16" bore as opposed to 1" bore. Then I used a Wilwood adjustable proportioning Valve.

ok cool I will keep that in mind for my build. To your knowledge do you think I would be able to get away with using the stuff off the crown Vic and save a few bucks. I have the whole car
